You Know You are in a Catholic School When….

These two are part of the entrance procession at Mass.  (St. Lucy and Our Lady of Guadalupe)

Little kids like these….creators of the crucifix

spontaneously set up the lunch sticks for tomorrow in patterns like this.  Don’t miss the fact that this is not just a cross, but a crucifix.crucifix

Kids with free time at recess use it to act out the Nativity story.  Here they are traveling to Bethlehem….

Trip to Bethlehem

Don’t miss the angels wholeheartedly singing “Hark the Herald Angels Sing….” along with Mary and Joseph.

Nativity

The favorite song of a number of our children is the Hallelujah Chorus.  I can see why, they really did it well last night!

These words are heard during group work during a religion project, “Now all we need to do is draw ‘Mary being conceived without original sin’, but I don’t know how to do that.”  Good luck with that my little friend.  They figured out that sometimes you just have to use words when a picture won’t come.

Blessed Advent to you all.
